Ivan founded upmarket food wholesale company London Larder in 1980 and sold it to Brakes in 1992. He then founded PSL which grew to be the UK’s largest food purchasing consultancy working with over 2,000 clients throughout the UK. In 2016 he sold PSL to Sodexo who are seeking to roll out the PSL concept across Europe and beyond.

Alex has worked in hospitality for over 20 years. He started in hospitality tech at iRiS, providing guest facing software to hotels and restaurants. He then joined Velocity Black, a digital members' club and concierge service, where he worked on their integrated payment solution and set up their travel department. In 2020, Alex set up Procurement Partners with the late Matt Tough, with Alex as Commercial Director and Matt as MD. Matt's vision and the foundations he laid continue to shape the business today.

Richard spent 28 years in the investment banking industry working at various firms including James Capel/HSBC, Schroder Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup and Barclays. Based in London, Asia and New York he worked in a variety of Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, COO and Governance roles. Prior to that he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse.

David has worked in the hospitality industry for over 40 years, 25 of these were as a chef in country house and 4/5 star hotels up to regional executive/group level. He then moved into consultancy and operations with PSL before taking up the role as development/operations for Warner Leisure Hotels where he most recently headed up their F&B development and operations team. He has a wealth of experience from menu development, supply chain implementation, food cost management and strategic F&B projects.

Chris is a hospitality procurement professional of some 15 years, working directly with well over 100 different food and drink businesses during that time. His work has included projects to deliver everything from strategic change to food production strategy, fiscal analysis and category management and he is responsible for data within the business.

Richard has built a distinguished 35‑year career in the hospitality industry, building a career as a chef in a range of respected establishments before progressing into Executive Chef roles across major corporate hotel groups. His deep operational grounding in kitchens laid the foundation for a long and successful transition into procurement, supply chain, and client‑focused leadership. After leaving the kitchen, Richard joined PSL and later Entegra, where he spent 23 years in senior operational, sales and strategic roles. His career includes serving as Strategic Operations Director for Europe and, most recently, UK Chief Client Officer, overseeing complex client portfolios, commercial performance, and organisational growth. Richard brings extensive expertise in the GPO sector, with strengths spanning client management, supply chain optimisation, business development, and executive leadership. Known for his ability to build strong partnerships, drive operational excellence, and deliver value‑led solutions, he has become a trusted leader within the hospitality and procurement landscape.

Douglas has worked across the hospitality and health club/spa industries for more than 40 years. His experience has included running several hotels, Operations Director/COO roles across various hotels groups and PLC board member of Esporta Health and Fitness. He is extremely passionate about the industry and what it offers in terms of careers and makes the development of people and building strong relationship internally and externally as his "modus operandi". He has also made charity and training an important part of what he does and has been a long-term supporter of both Springboard and Hospitality Action. In 2023 he was made a Master Innholder which gave him another platform to do more of what he has done over many years to support these great causes.

Luigi has over 18 years’ experience in the food industry, with a career predominantly focused on procurement. He has held a variety of procurement roles across foodservice and food manufacturing. Eventually, he moved into consultancy, supporting hospitality clients with industry knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities, optimise procurement strategies and reduce food spend. His broad sector experience across the sector enables him to provide practical, commercially focused solutions that deliver tangible value for clients.

Matt brings over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including more than 20 years at Executive Chef level. He has worked at prestigious establishments such as The Savoy, Selsdon Park Hotel, Le Meridien Saigon and, most recently, he held the role of Group Executive Chef and Deputy F&B Director for 10 years at Hand Picked Hotels. Matt possesses a wealth of expertise in menu development, optimising kitchen efficiency and food and beverage operations.

Simon has over 20 years’ experience as a team leader and data professional in both the private and public sectors. He has also operated a successful events catering/chef for hire business where he developed a variety of food service options for private customers and corporate clients.

Tom has been working in data and administration for the past 10 years and brings his knowledge from his time at the University of Nottingham to Procurement Partners. He has also spent time working in operations in the charity sector having earned his degree in Business Management and Marketing.

Phillip has worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, working in establishments ranging from gastro pubs to Michelin-starred restaurants. This includes 15 years with Hawksmoor, where he rose through the ranks to Group Head Chef, overseeing 11 UK and Irish restaurants before leading the opening of their largest international site in Chicago. He has extensive experience in menu development, food cost management, supply chain, new openings, and multi-site operations, with a strong focus on commercial performance, operational standards, and team development.

Julia brings her culinary and administrative knowledge from Austria to Procurement Partners as the newest member of the team. With her expertise from working in finance for 10 years, and a big passion for both food and data, she possesses great attention to detail to ensure client satisfaction.
